Emeraude Toubia

Emeraude Toubia is a native of Canada and is well-known among Canadians because of her character as an Canadian actress on the Freeform fantasy television show Shadowhunters. She also appeared in Venevision telenovelas Cosita linda and Voltea a' que te love. She is also a dancer and is also a model. Montreal-born, she has lived in Texas since childhood, and always loved dancing. She has been training in different dance styles from the time she was a child. In her teens, she took part in beauty contests. In 1999, she made her first on-screen appearance in Televisa's children's program El Mundo de los Ninos. Toubia was a hit for her participation in Nuestra Belleza Latina, the Univision pageant show. In 2010 she made her acting d but as a receptionist for the Telemundo's telenovela Aurora. The first film she appeared in was an action drama Tattooed Love in 2015. Her performance in the role of Shadowhunter was recognized by The Teen Choice Awards in both the years 2017 and 2018, for her performance as Best TV Actress Fantasy/Sci-Fi.
