Keerthy Suresh

Keerthy Yessh, born 17 October 1992 in India is an actress in film. Keerthy has mainly appeared in Tamil and Telugu film, as well as some appearances in Malayalam. She received the National Film Award for Best Actress for portraying the role of actress Savitri in the Telugu film Mahanati (2018). She has also won three SIIMA Awards as well as the Filmfare Award South. Keerthy Kumar Suresh is the actress Menaka G. Suresh's daughter. Her career began in early 2000s when she was a child actor. Her return to the film industry after studying fashion. She starred in her debut major character as a lead actress in Geethaanjali (2013) in a Malayalam motion picture. She went on to star in successful films such as Ring Master (2014), Rajinimurugan (2016), Remo (2016), Bairavaa (2017), Nenu Local (2017), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Mahanati (2018), Sarkar (2018), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Penguin (2020), Miss India (2021), Good Luck Sakhi (2022) and Sarkaru Vaari Paata (2022). Keerthy made her debut on Tamil projects in 2015 and began to accept projects outside of Malayalam. Even though the film was not a success at the box office, her debut film is A. L. Vijay's romantic-comedy Idhu Enna Maayam (2005) where she played opposite Vikramprabhu. The actress had to pull out of a variety of projects she was already making in 2015 such as Krishna's Maane Thaene Paeye, and Deekay's Kavalai Vedam to make room for bigger projects. She consequently made two films together with Sivakarthikeyan in quick succession, Rajini Murugan and Remo, while also playing the leading part in Prabhu Solomon's Thodari, alongside Dhanush.Her Telugu debut was planned to be Ainaa Ishtam Nuvvu. The film was delayed, and reports suggest that Janakitho Nenu will be released in September of 2020. In 2016, Nenu Sailaja which starred Ram Pothineni, was her debut.
