Winona-Ryder
Winona Ryder - Winona Lauro Horowitz - was born at Winona Minnesota. She was named by her parents for the town where she was raised as a child. Both her father Michel Horowitz, and mother Cynthia Palmer are authors and editors. Ryder's mother and father have both been Jewish. Ryder believes herself to be Jewish. Her half-siblings are younger, Jubal and Sunyata. At the age of seven, Ryder was only seven her family relocated from Mendocino County, California. Mendocino County California. Here, they did not have electricity. There was no television books was her only source of entertainment to spend the time and she was a voracious reader. Ryder started taking classes in acting in the American Conservatory Theatre in 1983, when she was 12 years old. In 1986 she landed her first major-screen appearance in the film Lucas at just fifteen years old. Ryder was bullied in high school. Her acting career, she hoped that it would aid her. However, it didn't come to pass. But she continued to pursue her dreams. Beetlejuice the 1988 Tim Burton film, was her debut big break. Ryder was able to continue playing roles that were successful in a variety of films. In 1993, she received an Academy Awards to be awarded for The Age of Innocence.
