Donald Joseph Qualls - better known as DJ Qualls - is a actor, model and producer from the US. Alongside his Road Trip role, he has also been seen in The New Guy Hustle & Flow as well as The Core. In addition, he has appeared in 22 television shows, including Breaking Bad Supernatural scrubs lost Law & Order among others. A survivor of Hodgkin's lymphoma that he was diagnosed at age 14 Qualls is a fighter. Within two years, the cancer has gone into remission. The treatment at an early age had an adverse effect on his body. It hampered his development. Financial security became his main objective once he began, as he'd seen poverty throughout his life. He stated, "I've been living so in a state of financial sanity for so long that I need financial security otherwise the world will feel out-of-control to me." The man also talks about his youth to inspire him. "Cruelty breaks me heart," he said. His ideal role in film as well as in real life is the father. He does however admit that directors don't usually make him the ideal choice for those kinds of jobs. Someday he would love to be a father himself in the future, when he could have the ability to dedicate much less time and energy to his profession and more time with his children.
